Areas of Expertise: Accessing Community Services, Barriers to Serving LGBT Elders
Doug Braun received his master's degree from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. He has worked in the field of aging since 1992 and has presented various workshops on accessing services for families, care givers and care receivers. He also provides counseling and is Deputy Administrator of Social Work for BRIA. In addition to these activities, Mr. Braun coordinates the Gray Pride social group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender seniors which meets at a local senior center.
