BENJAMIN ROSE INSTITUTE ON AGING PRESENTATIONS AT 2018 AGING IN AMERICA CONFERENCE

Experts from the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging and its subsidiaries Rose Centers for Aging Well and Empowering and Strengthening Ohio's People will share their knowledge in 18 presentations and programs during the 2018 Aging in America Conference, March 26-29 in San Francisco, CA. The conference is presented by the American Society on Aging.

Benjamin Rose President and CEO Richard Browdie will present in a special session on Tuesday, March 27 with other Next Avenue Influencers in Aging, who will discuss The Future of Aging in America. Browdie is also among the 2018 Panel of Pundits and presents in the ASA Chairs' Lecture, Provocateurs and Predictions: A Brave New World for Aging, among other presentations.

Other highlights include presentations on self-neglect, hoarding, financial exploitation, evidence-based programs for older adults and caregivers, service delivery models and other topics.

On Wednesday, March 28, Benjamin Rose will host a special reception from 6-8 p.m. in the 45th-floor Vista Room of the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

Additionally, the organization will share information about its innovative evidence-based programs at booth #814 in the exhibit hall throughout the conference.

Founded in 1993, Empower and Strengthening Ohio's People (ESOP; www.esop-cleveland.org) is a HUD-approved housing and financial counseling agency headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 2005, ESOP has assisted over 40,000 homeowners statewide. In 2014, ESOP launched the Senior Financial Empowerment Initiative, an innovative, integrated group of programs intended to increase the financial stability of Northeast Ohio's growing older adult population (aged 55+) enabling them to age in place with a more secure financial future. As of June 2017, ESOP has assisted over 10,000 older adults throughout Northeast Ohio through financial education workshops and array of one-on-one financial coaching and counseling services. ESOP is a subsidiary of Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging.
