Our keynote presenter, Ms. Feinberg, is one of this country's leading experts in the field of family caregiving. Ms. Feinberg will review current policies and practices for supporting families, who are the lynchpin for enabling older adults to remain at home for as long as possible. Ms. Feinberg will discuss possible future initiatives in the private, non-profit, and public sectors that will more fully acknowledge the role of family caregivers and move our society to a patient-and family-centered model of care and services. Following Ms. Feinberg, a reactor panel of local leaders from northeast Ohio will highlight regional efforts to improve support for caregiving families.
