"It didn't take long for me to feel overwhelmed when my 80-year-old mother moved in with me. With all the worrying she would have another fall, I felt like I was running my own nursing home. My Care Consultant talked with me about my stress and ways to get a break. Without this information, I wouldn’t have known about the resources available. I still laugh about the first day I got some time away! I felt like a new person."- Family Caregiver

Caring for a loved one makes you a lot of things to a lot of people. You’re a chauffeur at the ready, a short-order chef, a dutiful housekeeper, a novice pharmacist and an emotional lifeline. Some days you’re in the thick of it, other days you are stretched thin. We’re here to help you feel like every day is doable.

WeCare…because you do is your care partner, providing the crucial support and proven expertise to help your loved one age with grace and dignity. Whether the person receiving care lives across the street or across the country from you, our robust network provides indispensable resources and guidance that’s available online and on the phone. Your personal Care Consultant works alongside you to develop a customized plan that lets you take care of yourself and the people who need you most.

We listen. We work alongside you. WeCare…because you do. We recognize that everyone’s needs and priorities are different. We will begin and end with what is most important to you. We are here for the small tasks and the big decisions. All you need to do is give yourself permission to ask for help.

Our message to employers and providers:

“Finding this facility that we think is perfect for her, I don’t think we would have gotten to that without the assistance of the Care Consultant at Benjamin Rose. I just don’t know how we would have ever honed in on this solution to our caregiving and to the needs of my mother without having contacted Benjamin Rose. It certainly wouldn’t have happened this quickly.” - Family Caregiver

We know that employers are continually looking for ways to attract, engage and retain the highest quality workforce. Benefits packages are clearly one way to distinguish employers of choice. As you consider the most relevant offerings for your workforce and/or clients, WeCare…Because You Do may be just that solution.  53 million Americans now provide unpaid care for a loved one, and 61% of them currently work outside the home. Caregivers are no longer just 50-60-year-old women; every demographic is touched by caregiving. The stress of this burden impacts employees’ productivity at work and also has long-lasting physical and mental health implications. If you are an employer, insurance provider or other professional looking for a program to support your employees or clients who are caregiving for older loved ones, we would be pleased to speak with you about contracting options. If you wish to learn more about delivering the program yourself, you can learn more here.
