WeCare Because You Do Logo

A caregiver embracing her older loved one

Funders

There are family caregivers on every team in every organization. When work demands interfere with caregiving responsibilities, the stress impacts employees’ job performance, productivity, and their physical and mental health—and therefore the health and well-being of your organization. In this environment, no one can meet their potential. Providing tangible supports and benefits for working caregivers on your staff is thus more than just “the right thing to do;” it has become a business imperative.

As you consider which solutions you might implement to engage your workforce and help your employees manage their care needs, look no further than WeCare…Because You Do. WeCare offers a unique, cost-effective approach that reflects your own commitment to creative thinking and resourceful problem-solving. WeCare helps employees manage their responsibilities at home so that they can flourish in the office.

WeCare provides indispensable resources and guidance. But WeCare is more than just a referral source. Both on the phone and through email, Care Consultants work alongside family caregivers to develop a customized plan to take care of themselves and the people who need them most.

WeCare helps with the big things:

  • Navigating and coordinating community services
  • Planning for long-term care
  • Addressing financial and legal concerns
  • Exploring housing options
  • Understanding respite possibilities

And with all the personal things, too:

  • Creating strategies for challenging conversations
  • Finding solutions to bring family members together around care
  • Ensuring space to cope with all of the emotions triggered by caregiving

"When Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging first approached us to talk about extended benefits for family caregivers of older adults, we immediately thought: this is something we need to help us differentiate ourselves in the EAP marketplace. WeCare…Because You Do is now an invaluable program in the bucket of services that IMPACT Solutions offers to its members. WeCare takes our eldercare support offerings to the next level, ensuring that families not only work through the crisis that inspired them to call for help but also put plans in place to minimize the next one.

We see the value of WeCare for employers: as more employers look for creative ways to address the mental health needs of their employees, WeCare’s emphasis on reducing caregiver stress and burnout is critically important. And we see the value of WeCare for employees: the WeCare team is focused on the wellbeing of each member and driven by its focus on customer service. WeCare’s ability to improve work/life balance is key to our partnership. IMPACT Solutions is proud to partner with WeCare…Because You Do."
