Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging’s “Winterlicious” Returns for Valentine’s Day Weekend
Chef Mario Reyes will lead virtual cooking class in support of nonprofit’s community programs
CLEVELAND, Ohio (February 2, 2023) – If you haven’t yet made plans for the Valentine’s Day weekend, look no further than Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging’s “Winterlicious,” where a master chef will lead you in preparing a decadent three-course meal from the comfort of your home.
WHAT: A Winterlicious Dinner with Chef Mario
WHEN: Friday, February 10, 2023 | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Virtual event live on Microsoft Teams
COST: $25 per household
Certified Master Chef Mario Reyes will guide participants through a curated menu while recommending wine pairings and offering professional cooking tips. Chef Reyes is the Corporate Executive Chef at TRIO Community Meals, where he oversees innovative menu and recipe development to provide quality meals to older adults. He has competed in international cooking competitions and managed culinary teams around the world.
New This Year: Exclusive in-person cooking class and tasting event with Chef Mario!
New to the event this year is an exclusive in-person cooking class and tasting, limited to 35 people, on Thursday, February 9 at the Benjamin Rose headquarters. Participants will sample four courses cooked by Chef Reyes, along with wine pairings and the chance to engage with a world-renowned chef.

Event proceeds benefit the work of the Rose Centers for Aging Well and its Home-Delivered Meals program, which delivers daily, nutritious meals to food-insecure older adults in Greater Cleveland.
