Rose Centers for Aging Well - Description - Part 2

As we age, finding ways to get involved in our communities helps us to remain active and engaged. The Rose Centers for Aging Well promote active aging for Northeast Ohio's older adults by offering opportunities to learn, socialize with peers, create and volunteer.

There are six Rose Centers locations throughout the Greater Cleveland area. They are vibrant communities with a wide selection of activities, programs and services that foster personal choice and community.

Services provided by our Rose Centers to support older adults include:

  • Home-delivered meals
  • Transportation to one of our Rose Center locations
    • Participants must live within five miles of a Rose Center location
  • Arranged transportation for special trips and activities
  • Hot lunches at our Rose Center locations
  • Health and wellness programs, such as exercise

To learn more about activities at your local Rose Center, and how to participate, view the activities listing below and read our monthly newsletter.

In 2018, our Rose Centers offered a combined average of over 300 different activities, outings and special events each month, including exercise classes, shopping trips, bingo and arts and crafts. Our Centers also provided a yearly average of over 200,000 meals to older adults, and our programs and services enabled more than 2,200 older adults to live independently at home and stay active in their communities.

We are a member of Meals On Wheels America, National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs and the National Council on Aging, which connect us with helpful services and resources.
