Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging and ESOP host free, online event with Susan Fowler, motivational speaker and bestselling author, October 14

CLEVELAND, Ohio (Oct. 6, 2021) -- Regardless of income, age, or race, each of us has areas   we know we need to change, though we struggle to find the motivation to take action. Whether it's improving our finances, health, relationships or professional growth, the COVID-19 pandemic has magnified the need for strategies to help make positive and lasting behavioral change.

"Motivation is at the heart of everything you do and everything you want to do, but don't," says Susan Fowler, co-author of the best-selling "Self-Leadership and The One Minute Manager,” written with Dr. Ken Blanchard, Chief Spiritual Officer of The Ken Blanchard Companies. Dr. Blanchard is recognized as one of the most influential and compassionate leadership experts in the world.

Fowler and Blanchard will be speaking at a free online event, “From Crisis to Capable” hosted by ESOP, Empowering and Strengthening Ohio’s People, a subsidiary of Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging, on October 14 at 12 p.m. EST.

Based on research and science, they’ll share specific tools and strategies to understand the choice, connection and competence required to move from crisis to capable. Attendees will hear from ESOP clients who have been able to achieve their own goals and make positive behavioral changes during difficult times.

ESOP helps adults in all stages of life achieve and maintain financial wellness and housing stability. Their programs and counseling have helped thousands of families across the state of Ohio navigate and overcome housing and financial crises. Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging and its subsidiaries are committed to providing education to increase independence and the quality of life for older adults and those who care for them.

This event is for those who’ve wondered why they just can’t seem to start saving, begin exercising, kick a bad habit or achieve their objectives. Registration is now open. Interviews with Susan Fowler can be scheduled upon request.
